The Challenge

Build a tool that gives relocation companies (requesting relocation on behalf of employees) and relocation vendors (find suitable housing options) a place to communicate and organize a successful employee relocation.

MY ROLE

As the UX/UI designer I created product mockups, style guides and prototypes to share the vision, design principles and content strategy with stakeholders. From there the dev team took my designs and built out the application.

Research

We collected user feedback and conducted an analysis on existing products to understand relocation sourcing platforms at a deeper level to make informed and validated decisions on how to prioritize the features of the platform. We used experience mapping techniques to visualize and communicate the user’s end‐to‐end experience.

DESIGN

The design phase was focused on how to distill the amount of content needed into a clean and user friendly layout. We did not want users to be overwhelmed by the number of form fields so we divided them up and used breadcrumbs to help navigate through each step.

Mockups and Prototype

Every design decision we made helps to exude a sense of ease for the user. We built prototypes in InVision to allow early feedback and user testing.

The end result is a user-centered design that is clean and concise.
